She and her husband Don moved to Anderson with their children Rachel and Matthew in 1983. They have one grandchild, Olivia (3). Sue attended Lynchburg College, Fayetteville Technical College (AS) and Old Dominion University (BS in Indental Hygiene). She has worked in private practices for over 30 years as well as teaching Dental Hygiene at Fayetteville Technical College. Sue and Don live in Anderson and she enjoys golf and swimming. Her community activities include coaching the Special Olympics Swim Team (Volunteer of The Year) and working with the Cancer Association of Anderson (Volunteer of the year 2008). Sue is a breast cancer survivor (10-2004)!! Sue serves as a deacon at Central Presbyterian Church and is on the Mission Committee and in the Hand Bell Choir. _______________ Sherry Yarid Dental Hygienist Sherry has over 25 years experience as a dental hygienist .She joined Dr. Copeland’s office in 2001. Sherry resides in Anderson with her husband Nick and their two children. The Yarids are active in NewSpring Church and in the community. Sherry enjoys gardening, reading, and attending college sporting events with her family. _______________ Vicki Ellison Dental Hygienist Vicki has been a Dental Hygienist for the past 14 years and has worked with Dr. Copeland part-time for 1 year. She is married to Roger and they have two children, Ross and Rachel. She most enjoys spending time with her family. _______________ June Beard Copeland RDH, BS June has 28 years experience as a dental hygienist. She is a native of Anderson, graduated from TL Hanna High School, attended Erskine College and graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina with a B.S. degree in Dental Hygiene. She is married to her high school sweetheart, Dr. Brent Copeland, and has worked in his office since 1984. They have two children, Brent Jr. and Maisie. In addition to working as a hygienist, June has served as director of the Dental Assisting Program at McDuffie Vocational School and later Tri-County Technical College. She loves working in dentistry and enjoys working with each patient to identify the best treatment plan and home care program for their needs. June is an active member of First Presbyterian Church where she is a member Chancel Chimers Hand Bell Choir, Chancel Guild, and the Congregational Activities Committee. She also enjoys gardening, shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family. _______________ Amy Dental Hygienist Amy is an Anderson native and attended Anderson College and Greenville Tech. She has been a dental hygienist for over 35 years and has worked with Dr. Copeland for 4 years. Amy and her husband David have 3 children and 7 grandchildren and love spending time with them.
