J. Brent Copeland, DMD
Dr. Copeland, a native of Anderson, has been practicing dentistry in his hometown for over 30 years.
After graduating from T.L. Hanna High School, Dr. Copeland attended Erskine College where he majored in biology and graduated Magna Cum Laude. He graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina College of Dental Medicine in Charleston with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. Dr. Copeland has continued practicing dentistry in his same location for more than 30 years.
Dr. Copeland has earned a stellar reputation throughout his career for being a caring, compassionate dentist who genuinely cares about his patients and wants them to have the best treatment they can get. Working in the dental field gives him the ability to combine his love for being around people with his interest in technology.

Dr. Copeland and June have a son and daughter-in-law, Brent Jr. and Carley and granddaughters Gracie and Elise. He also has a daughter and son-in-law, Maisie and Andrew and have a grandson, Harlan and granddaughter, Lina. Dr. Copeland’s family attends First Presbyterian Church, where he is an Elder and Sunday school teacher. He has served as a District 5 Trustee for Anderson Schools. He enjoys sports, exercise and playing bluegrass music.
