Your First Visit

Seeing a new dentist is about more than just getting your teeth cleaned.

Your first visit to our Anderson dental practice includes taking a complete dental history and conducting a comprehensive evaluation to get an accurate measure of your oral health. It is all about assessing and addressing your needs. To maximize your time with us, our new patient paperwork is available online for you to download and bring with you to your first appointment.

After you’ve checked in and we receive your completed paperwork, our dental team will take a full series of digital X-rays to gather all necessary diagnostic information to assist Dr. Brent Copeland in developing a treatment plan to adequately address your needs.

Dr. Copeland enjoys spending time getting to know you as he conducts the exam, and he is sure to explain his treatment recommendations along the way. He will explain the condition of your mouth and share images of your teeth using an intraoral camera to help explain and educate you about your oral health. Dr. Copeland also will listen to your concerns and goals you have regarding your smile.

Depending on your unique needs, we may clean your teeth following this initial exam, or we may recommend other dental treatments be done prior to your teeth cleaning appointment.

Please call today to schedule your initial examination. We look forward to meeting you in person soon!

Because we know your time is valuable.

We strive to make your visit more convenient, so included here is our Patient Registration and Patient Medical History forms that you can prepare in advance of your appointment. The information you provide will allow us to best accommodate your needs and help decrease the time you spend waiting for your appointment. Just bring your completed forms to us, and our friendly registration staff will take it from there.
